Alvina (Babe) Bauer, 89, Garrison, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the Garrison Memorial Hospital. At Babe's request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
Babe was born March 4, 1929to John and Sadie (Benson) Anderson. She married Chester "Ches" Bauer on October 11, 1947 and they made their home south of Garrison where they farmed their entire lives.
Babe is survived by her sisters, Gerty Malvik and Shirley (Earl) Wienmann; sister-in-law, Delores Benson and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ches, September 13, 2018, brothers, Orval and Ralph Benson, sister, Esther Artz, brothers, Lavern and Lamare Anderson, and sister, Nina Goucharrour.
