Obituary

Annabelle Pollert, 79, Bismarck, formerly of Roseglen, died on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at a Bismarck hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Roseglen. Burial will be at Douglas City Cemetery in Douglas at 3:30 pm.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 3 to 7 at Thompson Funeral Home in Garrison.

Annabelle was born on July 6, 1933 in Ryder, ND to Anton and Fern (Slocum) Kolden. She was raised in Roseglen and went to Snippen rural School. She graduated from Minot High School in 1951.

On December 28, 1962, Annabelle married Lawrence Pollert in Douglas, ND. They made their home in Minot where she worked in the office at the Ward County Independent. They then moved to Bismarck and Annabelle worked for St. Alexius as the manager of the hospital's credit union, a title she held for 23 years. She later worked as the head of the financial aid office at the University of Mary. During her "retirement", she worked as a caretaker at Enable Inc. in Bismarck for 7 years. She recently was moved to the Benedictine Living Center in Garrison, where she found a new best friend, "Lady", the centers golden retriever.

Annabelle had many hobbies, including, reading, gardening, watching TV and caring for flowers.

Annabelle in survived by two daughters, Barbara Holly and Debbie Stienberg; grandchildren, Kaine Holly, Amy and Stacey Stienberg; step grandchildren, Anthony and Nicholas Holly; sisters, Joyce Olson, Lorraine Forsman, Sandra (Norlan) Rue; brother, Ronald Kolden; sister-in-law, Mildred Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Duane Kolden, and brother-in-law, Emil "Jr." Forsman.
