Arthur Sprenger, 79, Garrison, formerly of Roseglen, died on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014 at a Minot hospital. A memorial in Art's honor will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Roseglen from 11 am till 2 pm. There will be lunch and a time for sharing memories of Art. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Art was born to August and Dorothy Sprenger on September 27th, 1934 in Garrison, ND. Art was raised on the farm in Roseglen, ND with his 12 siblings. He attended school in Roseglen until the 8th grade, then helped his family on the farm. Art continued to live and work on the farm until 2011 when he moved to Garrison. Art was well known for driving around the country roads checking out the fields, seeing what the farmers were doing, and loved to stop and talk about farming. Being the youngest of 13 children, he had numerous nephews and nieces, which he cared about deeply.
Art was preceded in death by August and Dorothy Sprenger, and his brothers and sisters.
