Ashley Marie Seewalker, 24, White Shield, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at the Ralph Wells Memorial Complex in White Shield. Wake services will be on Sunday beginning at 5:00 at the complex. Burial will be at the Congregational Cemetery in White Shield.

Ashley was born on February 17, 1987 in Minot, ND to Phillip and Jillayne (Rush) Seewalker. She went to school in White Shield and Fergus Falls, MN, where she lived for a few years with Ken and Kathy Page.

Ashley loved to travel and go for cruises, but she always made White Shield her true home. She was a fun loving person, who liked to sing and dance around, and play jokes on her family and friends. Ashley's pride and joy was her beautiful 5 year old son, Tomas Jose Eppler Cortez. She will be forever loved and missed.

Ashley is survived by her son, Tomas, parents, Phillip and Jillayne Seewalker; four sisters, Ann Marie, Amanda Lee, Angela Mae, and Anastasia Rose Seewalker, brothers, Trevor and Jay Conica; grandfather, Rapheal Seewalker; aunts, Sylvia Spotted Horse and Arlie Seewalker Cordova; uncle, Roland Seewalker; and many other aunts, uncles, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Zane Seewalker, and her grandparents, Neola and Larry Rush and Angeline Black Cloud.
