Becky Lynn (Norenberg) Wyman, 43, Garrison, died on Tuesday, August, 20, 2013, surrounded by her family. She was diagnosed five years ago with breast cancer and courageously fought everyday being an inspiration to all that knew her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 23rd, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Garrison. Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Garrison City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from noon to 7 at Thompson Funeral Home in Garrison.

Becky was born October 22, 1969, to Ken and Jan (Honcharenko) Norenberg in Minot, ND where she was raised until the family moved to Garrison in 1975. She graduated from Garrison High School in 1988 where she still holds the girls' high jump record. She attended Wahpeton State College and Minot State College, where she graduated with a BA in Marketing and Management.

Todd and Becky met at Minot State College and later married on July 11, 1992. They moved to Great Falls, MT where she worked for Crop Growers Insurance. In 1998, Todd and Becky had their son, Austin, who was born in Great Falls. They moved to Garrison in 2001. Meghan, their daughter, was born in May of that year in Minot, ND.

Spending time with her family on Lake Sakakawea and Lake Metigoshe was important to her, as well as quilting with Meghan, her mom, and the many friends she made out at Camp of the Cross. Her quiet time was spent reading and tending to her beautiful, evolving flower garden. She took pride in attending Austin and Meghan's numerous activities, being a den mother and Webelos leader, selling sweet corn in the fall to the whole community, and volunteering as a street vendor during the Dicken's Village Festival. Memories were made while on family vacations to Disneyland, Las Vegas, Alaska, and the Bahamas.

Becky is survived by: her husband Todd and their two children, Austin and Meghan; parents, Ken and Jan Norenberg; sister Kim (Brian) Gehring and their children, Luke and Shelby; brother Gerard (Jennifer) Norenberg and their children, Matthew, Brady, and Sophia, all of Garrison.

Becky was preceded in death by her grandparents, Matt and Lydia Honcharenko and Ervin and Olga Norenberg; Aunt Marilee Honcharenko, Uncles Marvin Honcharenko and Dennis Norenberg, and cousin Allen Honcharenko.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Camp of the Cross, St. Paul Luther League, or the donor's choice.
