Brent Thomas Bauer, 65, passed away on April 27, 2024, at his home in Mandan, ND, following a brief illness.

A Celebration of Life for Brent will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Mandan Depot, Mandan, ND. If you are able to attend, please dress casually as that is what Brent would want.

Brent Thomas Bauer was born on January 20, 1959, in Turtle Lake, ND, to Frank and Verna Bauer. He attended and graduated from the Turtle Lake School.

After graduation Brent started his career working for Northwestern Bell. When he semi-retired from Ma bell, Brent then filled his time by working at Roughrider Harley Davidson, Mandan Sporting Goods and Finley Engineering before he completely retired.

Brent's passion was go-carting, watching Formula 1 races, and riding his Harley.

Brent was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Verna; his niece, Melanie.

Brent is survived by his brother, Robert (Gail) Bauer, Wilton; his nephew, Sean Bauer, Wilton; his niece, Stefanie (Nick) Martwick, Lake Stevens, WA; great-nephews, Issac and Eli Martwick, Lake Stevens, WA; his step-dad, George Gilfus; step-sister, Peggy Johnson along with her family. Brent is also survived by his "other" brother, Eric Boehm, who was his go-carting engineer, and best friend.
