Cameron James Martin, 35, of Mandan, passed away on May 13, 2024, at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Garrison, ND. Inurnment to follow at St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery.

Cameron James Martin was born on November 22, 1988, to Helen (Garcia) and Carl Martin in Bismarck, ND. He was raised in Garrison, ND, attending Bob Callies Elementary and Garrison High School. Cameron received his GED at Burdick

Job Corp in Minot, ND, certifying in Computer Skills. Cameron was incredibly bright and gifted in school and technology.

Cameron loved to take computers apart and put them back together. Playing video games was one of his favorite pastimes (especially with friends). He was an avid book reader, loved music, going to the lake, hanging out with his sister Maria and niece Mercedes.

Cameron was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease in March 2023. His sister, Maria, was his caretaker until his passing.

Cameron is survived by his father, Carl; brother, Chad Garcia; sister, Maria; neph-ews, Evan and Ryker Garcia; great nephew, Kalem; niece, Mercedes; step grandmother Janie Garcia and many aunts and uncles.

Cameron was preceded in death by his mother, Helen; maternal grandparents, Leona Ensrude and Rocky Garcia; paternal grandparents, Bill and Marie Martin.
