Cole Tweed, 19, Garrison, died Sunday from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Turtle Lake. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Garrison High School Gymnasium with Rev. Jeff Olsen (Bible Baptist Church, Bismarck) officiating. The family will receive family and friends at the gym from noon until the time of services to say goodbye to Cole.
Immediately following the services, lunch and fellowship will be held in the lower level of Hunter's Bar and Grill located at 53 1st St SE in Garrison.
Cole, son of Reggie and Michelle Tweed, was born July 5, 1997 in Fargo, ND. They lived in Sanborn and Bismarck, before settling in Garrison where Cole attended high school. He was currently working for Schlehr Utility in Garrison. He had also worked for Schumaier Construction and S & J Hardware.
Cole loved his mother Michelle and they were never apart. He loved his Dad, Reggie, his girlfriend, Alyssa, and his dog, Callie, as well as their other pets Daphne, Jilly, and Nadia. He loved his friends and his country, especially Donald Trump! He also enjoyed guns, working on his trucks, music, fishing and hunting. He was funny, beautiful, and wise. His smile was priceless! He was strong, loyal and very hardworking.
Cole is survived by his parents, Reggie and Michelle Tweed, Garrison, grandparents, Reuben and Evelyn Tweed; uncles, Rod Potratz, Dennis (Linda) Potratz, Jesse (Natalie) Potratz, Marshall (Bev) French, Rodger (Patti) French, Byron (Donna) French, Arlen (Donna) French; aunt, Ruby DeMink; other family, Jeremy Potratz, Jamie (Eliza) Potratz, Joey (Tricia) Potratz, Karissa (Coty) Piche, Ben Potratz; and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Al and Connie Potratz, uncles, Rick Potratz, other family, Luane French, Anthony French, Bobby French, Charlie French, Robin French.
Pallbearers will be Kaleb Conitz, Alex Lind, Bennie Leidholm, Rocky Pease, Jayden Bauer, and Skylar Betz. Honorary Pallbearers will be Carson Anderson, Dakota Rand, Alex Bauch, Tyler Norment, Nick Betz, Shawn Laswell, and Jordan Schell.
