Dale Peterson, 68, Garrison, formerly of Minot, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 19 at a Garrison hospital. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Garrison. Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
Dale was born August 13, 1945 in Wayzata, MN to Arthur and Eleanor (Wagner) Peterson. After graduating high school, Dale proudly served in the US Air Force and was stationed at the Minot Air Force Base. He also served and retired from the Army Reserves. He worked for Boyd Construction and later for Montana Dakota Utilities.
Dale loved spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Dale is survived by his wife of 39 years, Myra, daughters, Tiffany (Chris) Heth, Jennifer (David) Morgan, grandsons, Dillon and Connor Morgan, who were Grandpa Dale's best buddies; sisters, Charlotte (Richard) Blesi, Gloria Busbey, Hedda ( Jerome) Olson; brothers, William, Bruce, and David (Lorah) Peterson; father-in-law, Lawrence Galusha, and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law, and a brother-in-law.
