Obituary

Diana Schneider, 60, Garrison, died on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at a Bismarck hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 am at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Garrison. A rosary will be said on Sunday beginning at 7:00 pm at the church. Burial will be at the Beach City Cemetery at 5:30 pm mountain time (6:30 pm central time) in Beach.

Family and friends may sign a register on Sunday from 5 to 7 at the church.

Diana was born April 8, 1954 to Ted and Donna (Fulton) Stull in Beach, ND. When Diana was a young child her father died unexpectedly. Several years later, her mother married Joe Sygulla, and the family moved to a farm in rural Golva, ND. She was raised and educated in Golva, graduating from Golva High School. Diana married Duane Schneider on December 29, 1972 in Bismarck, ND. They moved to Garrison where they raised there 3 children, Scott, Karri, and Dusty. Diana and Duane later divorced, and Diana continued living in Garrison.

Diana worked for many years at Lake Road Restaurant in Garrison. After the closing of the restaurant, Diana became manager at the Cenex Hot Stuff in Garrison, where she was working at the time of her death. Diana liked keeping busy and enjoyed working part time with Kyle's Katering in Garrison and the surrounding communities.

Diana had numerous hobbies. Her children were involved in numerous sporting events, especially basketball, and she never missed a game. In her free time she also enjoyed gardening, canning, and collecting antiques. She was also intrigued by wolves, and had numerous items in her collection.

Diana is survived by her children, Scott (Carey) Schneider, Billings, MT, Karri (Joe) Kerzmann, Colstrip, MT, Dusty (Brandee) Schneider, Mandan, ND; grandchildren, Kaylee and Tanner Kerzmann, Destiny and Angel Schneider; mother, Donna Stull Sygulla, Beach, ND; and sister, Sharon Schwarzbauer, Aberdeen, SD.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ted Stull, step-father, Joe Sygulla, and one brother, William "Willy" Stull.
