Doris Neumiller Zimmerman, 89, Bismarck/Roseglen, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, August 11, 2019 at Missouri Slope Care Center, Bismarck, ND

Doris was born November 29, 1929 to John and Mathilda Neumiller at Bowdon, ND. She married Robert (Bob) Zimmerman on July 15, 1952. They lived in Seattle, Wa where Bob worked as an electrician until moving back "home" to ND in 1958, where they eventually took over the family farm at Roseglen.

Her love of life was punctuated by her faith, her love of people in general, her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and in later years, great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and farming. She will be remembered for a quiet, gentle spirit.

Part of her was forever missing when she lost her husband Bob in November, 2003, She remained on the farm until 2005, when she moved to Bismarck to an apartment. In September of 2011 she moved into Valley View Assisting Living, Bismarck. In March of 2016, she made the transition to Missouri Slope Care Center, Bismarck, where she lived out her days

She is survived by a brother Richard, Fargo, ND and:

Her son Jerry (Tamra) Roseglen, ND, and their children Lance, Natasha, Jerad, and Tonya, daughter Judy Myers, Bismarck, ND and her children Austin and Cody; daughter Connie Zimmerman, Bismarck, ND, and her daughter Jessica; sons, Jim, Rapid City, SD and Bill (Katya) Dodgeville, WI

Jessica (Mike) Sanfelippo, San Diego, Ca, and their children Luke, twins Charlotte and Olivia

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob, and sisters Delores and Eileen

Funeral services: Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Garrison City Auditorium, Garrison, ND

Visitation: Wednesday from 4:00-6:00 pm at Thompson Funeral Home, Garrison, ND and one hour previous to services

Pallbearers: Jerry, Lance, Jerad, Jim, and Bill Zimmerman, Austin and Cody Myers, Mike Sanfelippo
