Edwin Charles Hansen, 80, of Coleharbor, passed away March 1, 2023, at Garrison Nursing Home, Garrison, ND.

Edwin was born May 13, 1942, to Niels and Hattie Hansen.

He graduated from Underwood High School, then attended welding school in Ohio. He worked at the mine for a couple of years while farming. He continued farming on the third-generation farm until he couldn't do what he enjoyed most, farming, due to health reasons.

He enjoyed welding and fixing, visiting with friends, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an active member at the Bethel Church.

Edwin will be deeply missed by his son and his wife, James and Loretta Hansen; grandchildren, Dane, Kylar, and Kinnsie.

Edwin preceded in death by his parents, Niels and Hattie Hansen; brother Norman Hansen.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Spring at Bethel Cemetery, a date will be announced.
