Evelyn was born November 24, 1920 at her parent's home in rural Snow Township east of Garrison to George and Florence (O'Tool) Louser. She was raised on the Louser family homestead and attended rural school in Snow Township. She married Ray Krebsbach, from Max, ND, on January 23, 1940 at St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church in Underwood, ND. Together they raised 6 children. Their family moved several times before returning to the Louser homestead in 1948. They would remain there until moving into Garrison in 1977.

Evelyn spent many years as a volunteer at the Benedictine Living Center in Garrison where she spent the last year and a half of her life. Prior to moving into BLC she lived at "The Meadows" in Garrison, where she met some very special friends that she held most dear to her heart.

Evelyn's favorite times were spent with her friends; playing cards, bingo and taking trips to the casino. She also had a wonderful collection of ceramic dolls. While living at the farm, Evelyn was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and later became a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Garrison. She was very active in the ladies aid of both churches.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Jerry) Ratke, Corcoran, MN, Gail (Tom) Maxwell, Grand Rapids, MI; sons, Kirby (Jenni) Krebsbach, Williston, ND, Keith Krebsbach, Coopersville, MI, Kelly (Jodi) Krebsbach, Minot, ND; "adopted children", Donnie and Marge Schreiner, Garrison, ND; 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and two very special friends, Dorothy Thompson and Irene Srb, both of Garrison.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray, daughter, Kay Krebsbach, grandson, Scott Maxwell, infant siblings, Berniece and Beryl Louser, brothers, James, Frank, Albert and Floyd Louser, and sisters, Vivian (Meier) Sheets and Eulalie Hodges.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to St. Nicholas Catholic Church or St. Ann's Altar Society.
