Frank Moran, 66, Garrison, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Trinity Hospital in Minot. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Garrison.
Franklin Joseph Moran was born on December 19, 1951 in Parshall, ND to Clarence "Babe" and Mary Jane (Decotah) Moran. He grew up most his life in Parshall, but also spent time in Longview, WA. In his younger years he did a lot of boxing and to this day he holds the record for the fastest knockout (8 seconds) in the first round. Frank really enjoyed being around family. He loved to make people laugh and was always joking around.
Frank married Peggy Hummel on December 30, 1984 in Stanley, ND. They made their home in Garrison where Frank worked at the Garrison Bakery for many years. Frank and Peggy had two children, K.C. Moran and Sierra Moran. They each had two children from previous relationships. Frank had a daughter, Kristy Brezee, and a son, Frank Moran Jr. Peggy had two daughters, Tonya and Amy Hummel.
Frank is survived by his wife of 33 years, Peggy, Garrison; sons, K.C. Moran, Minot, and Frank Moran Jr., Williston; daughters, Sierra Moran, Minot, and Kristy Brezee, Longview, WA; step daughter, Amy (Perry) Gable; brothers, Joe (Claudia) Moran, Longview, WA, Bob (Jackie) Moran, Parshall, ND, Clarence Moran Jr, Minot, ND, Wayne Moran, Bismarck, ND; sisters, Mary Taylor, Conneticut, Elaine (Richard) Murray, Longview, WA, Vicky Shervan (Mike Grove), Parshall, ND, Linda Giffey, Parshall, ND, Deloris Brunell, Minot, ND; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Brenda and Diane, brothers Henry and Bill and step daughter, Tanya Hummel.
