Gary Steve Bell was born on December 08, 1971 in Santa Ana, CA to Gary Dickens and Victoria Iris Bell. Gary was of Alkali Lodge Clan and child of Prairie Chicken Clan. Gary made his journey into the spirit world on May 13, 2014. Gary grew up in White Shield and moved with his family to New Town in the late 80's so his mother could be closer to her work and also continue to live there. He worked at Casino and Tribe and worked at KMHA. Sohi and Gary started to do play by play for games for New Town which he loved. He was also President of Shell Creek Church and also on the board for Fort Berthold Council of Congregational Churches.
Gary loved his daughters with all his heart and would never give up even when he was down. Gary also loved his family and would be there with no questions asked. He had stories upon stories till you literally had to walk away. He loved his work especially at KMHA and also would have candy for kids he saw and helped kids with few bucks with no question. Gary loved to be around his nephews and nieces and would play with them till he tired out. He would be there for his adopted brother's children; Bub, Mac, Sohi just to name a few. He loved to ride his motorcycle even through winter and would brag about it. His passion was his daughters and would take them everywhere.
Gary also was very intelligent and earned highest rank in the State of ND for his GED accomplishments. He loved sports and loved to watch his Knicks, Braves and Falcons.
Gary loved and respected everyone with all his heart and was always there to help someone in need and never refused any one. He would often "Talk your ear off."
Gary was a loving father, brother, uncle, nephew and son and of course a friend to all.
Gary will be missed by his family, friends and all he touched with his loving heart and stories. Gary is survived by his father; Gary Dickens, Daughters; Alexis Victoria Bell, Jolie Marie Bell, Brothers; Darrick Bell, Douglas Bell, Joseph Dickens, Andrew Dickens, Sisters; Tammy Dickens, Minda Dickens, Grandma; Dixie Krueger All his beloved Cousins (Ardith), Nephews/Nieces and his adopted brothers/sisters (Too many to name).
Gary is welcomed to the spirit world by his Grandmother; Rachel Bell, Mother; Victoria Iris Bell, All his beloved Grandmas/Grandpas, Aunties/Uncles and adopted brothers and sisters. He is also welcomed by his one true love Aimee Yellow Face.
Wake services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the New Town Civic Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Town Civic Center.
