Olaf and Georgette purchased a farm near Emmet, just across the road from Olaf's family farm. Later their son, Melvin and Edmund's son, Larry, joined the operation, forming Iverson Farms. Three children, Sharon Ann, Linda Darlene and Melvin Leroy were born to Olaf and Georgette.
Having been born into a large family, Georgette shared the daily chores with her siblings but especially liked herding cattle and anything dealing with horses. She was active in the Roundtable Home Makers Club, The Lamplighters Senior Citizen's group, was a past president St. Anne's Altar Society, and a member of the Garrison Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
