Jamie Whitetail, 53, White Shield, died Saturday, August 13th, 2016 in a Bismarck hospital. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 18th at 11:00 a.m. at the Ralph Wells Jr. Memorial Complex in White Shield. A wake service will be held on Wednesday, August 17th, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at the Ralph Wells Jr. Memorial Complex in White Shield.

Jamie White Tail was born in Garrison, ND on March 11, 1963 to Fay Arnold White Tail Sr. and Josephine (Price) White Tail. He attended White Shield Elementary School and then went on to Wachter Junior High in Bismarck. After which, he moved to Omaha, Nebraska which is where he met his wife, Myrna Gullikson.

Jamie married Myrna on March 26, 1984. Jamie and Myrna had two sons, Sage and Samson White Tail, both of White Shield.
Jamie is survived by his two sons, Sage and Samson, his brother, Nelson White Tail Sr., brother, Arne White Tail, and sister, Kandie (White Tail) Knight. Other survivors include all his relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna White Tail.
