Jerald (Jerry) Vincent Proell (59), son of Alvin & Rosie (Kubicek) Proell passed away November 8th at his home with his family after a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at Thompson Funeral Home in Garrison.

Jerry was born March 24, 1955 in Minot, North Dakota. He graduated from Garrison High School. Throughout the years he worked with his father at Al's Body Shop. Recently he worked at Beulah & Falkirk Mine until he became ill in February 2014.
Jerry married Jill Cooper in 1983. They had to sons, Jared and Joshua Proell. They divorced shortly after Josh was born. He has four grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his mother Rosie; his brother, Leroy (special friend Anna); his three boys, Jared Proell, Joshua Proell, and Bryant Huston; nephews Brad and Corey Phelps; nieces Amy Proell, and Kristin Berg.

He was preceded in death by his niece Jenny, his sister Cindy Proell, and his father, Alvin Proell.
