Obituary

Kasey Layne Racine was born June 4, 1990 In Minot, ND to Daunelle Marsette and the late David Racine. He made his journey home on July 4, 2013 surrounded by his family. He belonged to the Dead Grass Society where his Great Grandmother Marrion was the drum keeper which was carried down from her Mother, Abby Shell.

He grew up in the White Shield area where he attended school from Head Start to Junior High, and later attended Riverside Indian School in Anadarko, OK. After returning from Oklahoma he would spend his time in Parshall and White Shield. Then he later moved to Bismarck to stay with his daughter and family, until the time of his passing.

His main interest was drawing where he was going to do designs for tattoos. He was also interested in boxing and basketball. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, listening to music and outdoor activities. He was always willing to lend a helping hand when asked by his Grandpa Howard Wilkinson and Grandpa Richard to do branding and fixing fences.

Kasey did various jobs including seismographing, the pipeline, and some construction.

He became a proud dad on September 29, 2010 to a beautiful precious little girl Kinzie Jaide who he enjoyed spending time with and was the joy of his life.

He also enjoyed spending time with his brothers and sister, telling jokes and teasing each other. He was given the nickname Ninja. He would like visiting with his friends, aunties, uncles, grandpas and grandmas.

He is survived by his Daughter-Kinzie Jaide, Mother-Daunelle Marsette, Brothers- Justin Marsette, Christopher Finley, Bobby Deane, Sister-ShyAnne Marsette, Grandmothers-Edith McNamara and Kathleen Racine. And his Grandpa Newton Racine. And all his aunties, uncles, friends, and relatives.

Kasey is preceded in death by his Father-David Racine, Grandpas-Manny, Matt Jr. Marsette, Keith Fox Sr., Great Grandparents-Matthew Sr. and Gloria Marsette, Grandmas-Arlinda Mae Marsette and Marianne Ruiz (Marsette).

Wake services will be held on Tuesday, July 9th at 5:00 p.m. at the Ralph Wells Memorial Complex in White Shield. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Ralph Wells Memorial Complex in White Shield. Burial will be at the Congregational Cemetery in White Shield
