Kenneth Leidholm, 89, of Garrison, passed away on July 4, 2023.

Kenneth Eugene Leidholm, long time resident of Garrison, ND passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2023. He was born in McClean County (Underwood) to Willard and Marie Leidholm on February 18, 1934. He attended school in Underwood and helped on the family farm. He married Audrey Jesser from Washburn, and served in the US Army. They were lifelong residents of McLean County, primarily in Garrison. Kenny had several professions. He worked as a Butcher, was a Cook at the original Garrison Stone Inn, and did construction/cement work at the power plants. He was a highly skilled Carpenter. There wasn't anything he couldn't build. He and Audrey purchased The Garrison Bakery in 1980, and ran it with their family for a number of years. Audrey died in 1999, and Kenny stayed busy working in Garrison. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ray and Maynard, wife Audrey, daughter Tammy, and son Kyle. He is survived by sister Darlys of Bismarck, ND, sons Kelly of Garrison, Allan of Kernersville, NC and Kevin of Greenbrier, Arkansas, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kenneth requested cremation and that there be no funeral service. His ashes will be placed with his wife Audrey at the Garrison Cemetery.
