IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenny
Feldahl
July 27, 1944 – August 19, 2019
Kenneth Fjeldahl, 75, passed away August 19, 2019, at Sunset Drive Prospera Community in Mandan.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 26th at 2:00 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Roseglen, ND.
Kenny was born to Louie and Marian(Akan) Fjeldahl July 27th, 1944, in Minot. He didn't meet his father until he was 14 months old, due to the war. He graduated from Makoti High School. After graduation, Kenny worked for various farmers, Oberg Construction, as well as farming with his father. He took over the family farm after his father's death. Kenny was a member of the Army Reserve for six years, a fifty-one year member of the L.C. Jensen Legion Post in Ryder, Hiddenwood Old Settlers, and a part of the Makoti Threshers Association.
He married Kathleen Neumiller on July 24, 1987, and had one daughter. Kenny continued farming and raising cattle until 2014, when he retired and moved to Bismarck. He was actively involved in the Parkinson's support group after being diagnosed in 2016. Kenny also attended the YMCA's exercise group and monthly meetings. He loved to visit, dance, play cards, listen to his old time country music, and spend time with his family, especially grandson, Jayden. Kenny was a loving person with a great sense of humor that was enjoyed by many.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kathleen, daughter Tiffany (Ryan) Schneider, grandson Jayden, cousins Nolan Fjeldahl, Barney Bradley, Lyla Akan, Olaf Edwards, and Jim Edwards. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Marian.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to be given to Bismarck Parkinson's Support Group or Ryder Community Club.
