Obituary
Larry Allen Schaner, 64, died on November 26, 2018 after a 9 year battle with cancer. A small family gathering will take place at a later date.
Larry was born January 5, 1954 to Frank and Veronica Schaner. He grew up in New Salem and graduated from there in 1972. He married Beverly Hutchinson, and from this union was given two children.
Larry was most known as being an avid fisherman. His best days were spent catching walleye on the river. He looked forward to spending time with his son Scott on their fishing trips locally and to Alaska and Mexico.
Papa Larry will be missed by his grandkids. They looked forward to spending time with him and hearing tales of all of his whoppers! His wish was to see his grandkids grow up.
Larry is survived by his son Scott (Theresa) Schaner, Beulah (their children Trinity, Brady, Bentley, Bodey); daughter Jennifer Francisco, Bismarck (her daughter DeLainey); mother Veronica Schaner, Mandan; brother Ron Schaner, Mandan; niece Lisa (Bryce) Petryszyn Mandan.
Larry was preceded in death by his father Frank Schaner and sister-in-law Madonna Schaner.
