Linda Houser, 69, formerly of Underwood, died on Friday, May 31, 2019 at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Garrison. A private family burial will take place at the Coleharbor Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 to 6 at Thompson Funeral Home in Garrison.
Linda was born March 15, 1950 to Arnold and Laverne (Okerson) Schumaier of Garrison. She attended school in Garrison, graduating from Garrison High School in class of 1969. She married Orval "Bobby" Houser in July of 1970 and they made their home in rural Coleharbor and raised 3 children.
Linda is survived by her husband, Orval, Underwood; children, Scott Houser, Stacey Anderson, both of Pick City, and Mike Houser, Garrison; grandchildren, Damien Houser, Demrick Houser, Jonas Houser, Andrew Anderson, Alex Houser, Issabella Houser, Elizabeth "Rosie" Houser, Emilee Anderson, Anika Anderson; brothers and sister, Merlin Schumaier, Dennis (Debbie) Schumaier, Steve Schumaier, Connie (Monty) Fast, Ricky (Kate) Schumaier; brother-in-law, Ernie Houser; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded death by her parents, mother-in-law, Orabella Houser, brother-in-law, Konrad Houser, and sisters-in-law, Rachael Wenschlag and Genie Georgeson.
