Loren Zeiszler, 73, Garrison, formerly of Pick City, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 6, 2017. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 2:00 pm at Peace Lutheran Church. Burial will be held in the spring at the Garrison City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 at Thompson Funeral Home in Garrison.

Loren Dale Zeiszler was born October 7, 1943 in Fairview, MT to Leo and Caroline (Bieber) Zeiszler. As a small boy they lived in Pick City and later moved to Garrison. Loren worked for his uncle, Art Beiber, in Zap, ND for some time and later for the Jungling brothers. He attended school in Garrison and as a senior he went to work in Hysham, MT for the Kolb brothers.

While living in Hysham, he met Ardythe A. Huebner in Forsyth, MT in March of 1962. Loren and Ardythe were married on November 24, 1962. Following their marriage, they moved north of Garrison where Loren worked for Gus Sayler, until Gus's death. In 1972, Loren went to work for Gary Brawer. In 1974 the family moved south of Riverdale where Loren worked construction, helping build the power plants. In 1981 they moved into Pick City and Loren went to work for Fisher's Sand and Gravel, south of Riverdale. Prior to his retirement, Loren worked for McLean County.

Loren loved to play games with his children. He also liked to give them horse rides and snowmobile rides. He did a lot of fox and small game hunting, and he loved to go fishing. Loren also like to play cards, especially pinochle, with his folks and Ardythe.

Loren is survived his wife, Ardythe; children, Laura Zeiszler, Sharon (Maynard) Jungling, Donna (Dean) Franklin, Arthur (Alea), and George (Colleen) Zeiszler; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Clarence, Donald, Gerald and Kenneth Zeiszler; and 1 sister, Marlene Herman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, LeeRoy Zeiszler, 2 grandsons, Brandon and Eric Mautz, and a nephew, Danny Zeiszler.
