Sharon Kay Losinski (Haglund) having fulfilled her life of love and giving passed away on Friday November 16th 2018, in the country home of her daughter and son-n-law Christie & Gary Narum located on the great plains of North Dakota. Born February 23rd, 1949, her parents, Clarence & Lillian Haglund, raised her in the rural town of Twin Valley, MN rich in Scandinavian culture. The youngest of nine siblings Sharon went to high school in Twin Valley and eventually moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area where she spent most of her humble life.
One of the fondest memories of Sharon was when she sang with her sister Shirley Sather in various venues across NW Minnesota raising the spirits of those in attendance. As few would contest Sharon was deeply humbled and one of the hardest working women of her time. She could not sit still and always felt guilty seeing others doing chores without her. But no matter what she made in earnings it was not uncommon for her to give anything extra she had to those who needed it more. Sharon was truly an unselfish wife, mother, grandmother and friend longing only for the smiles from those around her.
Our mother was an inspiration to all whereby she found more joy in giving than receiving, but what most was astounding is that she was this way for her entire lifetime. The tender nurturing of children, puppies, kittens, and others continued through to the last days and hours of her life. She wanted nothing but gave all. With the heart of a lion, fight of a tiger and love of a bear she has left a lasting impression that's been passed on to her children and anyone else who had the pleasure to be in her presence. She will be deeply missed but not forgotten, we love you Mom.
Sharon is survived by her children Shannon (Mariam) Mortenson, Christie (Gary) Narum, and Mari (fiancé Patrick) Berggren; nine grandchildren: Garrett, Kellen, Scarlett, Brett, Brandon, Dakotah, Braden and Lane. In addition, her siblings: Shirley, Beverly, Ronnie, and Clarence (Babe). She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Curtis, Sonny, Roger, Beatrice and Adeline, and grandson, Logan.
A celebration of Sharon's life will be held on Saturday November 24th, from 1pm – 4pm at the Community Center in Twin Valley MN located at 107 Second St SW. All friends and family are welcome and encouraged to stop in to share in stories and memories of this wonderful person.
