Terry Kerzmann, 69, of Garrison, ND died August 10, 2020, at the Garrison Memorial Hospital.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Thompson Funeral Home, Garrison with Pastor Janis Sloka officiating.  Burial will be at St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Terry was born on November 8, 1950 in Riverdale, ND, the son of Joe and Evelyn (Allers) Kerzmann.  He was raised and educated west of Garrison on the family farm.  He attended school at White Shield and St. Nicholas Catholic School.  Terry married Gloria Galster in the early 1970's and together they had two children.  He later married Janice Star on November 8, 1985 in Washburn, ND.

He worked for Stevens Lumber Yard and he also worked independently as a carpenter and salvaging scrap iron.  He was instrumental in getting rural delivery of the Minot Daily News started.  Terry started with 600 customers and grew it to over 5000 customers.

Terry enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting antiques, playing bingo and visiting with family and friends.

Terry is survived by his companion, Janice Star Kerzmann of Garrison; a son, Justin Paul Kerzmann of Minnesota; two daughters:  Dellarice Marie (Allan) Leidholm of North Carolina and Ashley Duncan of Minnesota; three grandchildren: Justin, Madeline and Corbin; four step children:  Wanda Thompson, Kathy Chauncey, Sandy Granlie and Lori Ethrington; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters-in-law:  Joseph (Theresia) Kerzmann of Garrison, Steve (Cindy) Kerzmann of Williston and Linda Kerzmann of Rimrock, AZ; three sisters and three brothers-in-law:  Judy (Maurice) Kemp of Elkin, NC, Marlene (Richard) Batke of Sedona, AZ and Susan (Leroy) Bohrer of Garrison, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step son, Neil and Brother, Roger Kerzmann.
