Theresia Jane (Fredrickson) Kerzmann entered into the Lords hands on November 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Peace Lutheran Church, Garrison, ND. Burial to follow at the Garrison Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 PM on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Thompson Funeral Home, Garrison, ND.

Theresia was born on April 13, 1945 in Garrison, ND to Walter and Gertrude (Nyberg) Fredrickson, the second oldest of eight children. She graduated from Garrison High School in 1963. She met the love of her life, Joseph Kerzmann, in her father's Blacksmith Shop. They married on May 31, 1963, and lived South of Garrison their whole life, raising their six children.

Theresia's careers were Elsie's Cafe, which she enjoyed very much, Super Valu, and then for many years at the Garrison Hospital. She retired in 2017. She was active in the Dickens Festival selling turkey drumsticks for several years. She was also superintendent of Sunday School at Peace Lutheran Church. Theresia enjoyed family time, she loved being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She liked sitting on the porch, enjoyed shoe shopping, although she was usually barefoot. She enjoyed the group text messages between her siblings, lots of laughs over their comments.

Theresia is preceded in death by her grandchildren, Joshua Koelzer, Whitney Koelzer, Jonathan Lehfeldt; parents, Gertrude and Walter Fredrickson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Evelyn Kerzmann; sisters, Irene Munz and Agnes Fredrickson; brothers-in-law, Roger Kerzmann, Terry Kerzmann, Louie Munz.

Theresia is survived by her husband, Joseph; son, Joseph (Karri) Kerzmann, Colstrip, MT; daughters, Paula (Pete) Jensen, WI, Lonna (Paul) Folden, Garrison, Michelle (William) Bader, Coleharbor, Kristy (John) Behles, Colstrip, Tanya (Benjamin) Lehfeldt, Fargo; 23 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers, Walt (Shirlene) Fredrickson, Larry (Elaine) Fredrickson, Leonard Fredrickson, Henry (Arlona) Fredrickson; sister, Linda Fredrickson Morris; brother-in-law, Steve (Cindy) Kerzmann; sisters-in-law, Marlene (Richard) Batka, Judy (Bud) Kemp, Susie (Leroy) Bohrer; and lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
