Weston Dakotah Fox, 40, passed away January 3, 2022.
Viewing and Prayers will be on Thursday, January 12, 2022, from 3:00-4:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home, Garrison. A procession will leave from the funeral home at 4:00 PM to the White Shield Complex.
Wake Service will be on Thursday, January 12, 2022, at 7:00 PM at the White Shield Complex.
Funeral Service will be on Friday, January 13, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the White Shield Complex. Burial to follow at the Arickara Congregational Cemetery, White Shield.
Weston Dakotah Fox, scirihts aninaaricl - (Standing Coyote) was born on October 10 th , 1982 to Wesley Fox, Jr. and Gloria Poitra in Minot, ND. He passed away on January 3 rd , 2023 in Oroville, Washington.
Weston attended Twin Buttes and White Shield Elementary Schools while growing up and went to high school at Watford City High School where he played hockey and graduated in 2001.
He was a talented artist and loved to do different projects around the house. He liked music, ICP were his favorite artists, and going to concerts. He was a car enthusiast who liked to work on his own vehicles. He enjoyed playing video games. He loved hanging out with and spending time with his aunt Naomi "Omi" Fox, who was more like a big sister, that he grew up with.
Weston was once married to Anna Mandan and they had two sons Justice & BlueHorse. He lived in New Town for a few years and worked surveillance at the Four Bears Casino before moving to Oroville, Washington with Amy, Justice, and Brock and worked different jobs and took care of his mother when she became ill.
Weston is preceded in death by his younger brother, Joe Lone Bear; mother, Gloria Poitra; special companion, Amy Farber; maternal grandparents, Marie Seminole and Julius Poitra, Sr.
Weston is survived by his sons Justice Fox, BlueHorse Mandan, Brock Fox, and Alexander Fox; father, Wesley Fox, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Wesley Fox, Sr. and Yvonne (Howard) Fox and all his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
