Weston Paul Hove was born April 23, 2007 in Bismarck, ND to Lynn and Anissa (Nygard) Hove. He was in the preschool program at Bob Callies Elementary School in Garrison.

Weston lived in Garrison, but was a farm kid at heart. He awoke early in the morning and was always ready to go. As far as he was concerned, he and his dad couldn't get going to grandma and grandpa's farm in Parshall soon enough. He spent countless hours in the tractor and combine with Lynn and his grandpa, Ken. When he was four months old he began riding in the tractor making bales from what he later called the "alfa" fields. He especially enjoyed when they had bloomed their purple blossoms. Being in the "kaka" (his word for "tractor" at age one) was where Weston was most comfortable. When he started getting a little cranky and just couldn't fall asleep, a ride in any kind of machinery was all it took to zonk him out; after asking several questions of course.

When Weston asked questions, it was truly because he wanted answers. He absorbed everything that was told to him, which made him wise beyond his years. If you needed to know anything about a tractor, piece of machinery, or even a lawnmower, he could tell you. And, he would tell you the way it was whether you wanted to hear it or not, but it was pretty hard to get mad at him with a smile like his. Weston was and will always be his mom's little boy and his dad's best bud, and always, "They will love him to the moon and back."

Weston is survived by his parents, Lynn and Anissa Hove; Garrison, sisters, Haley Hove, Garrison, Mariah Eslinger, Billings, MT; paternal grandparents, Ken and Linda Ruud, Parshall; maternal grandparents, Jackie Grantham, Mandan, Glen and Bonnie Nygard, Garrison; paternal great-grandmothers, Irene Olmstead and Doris Ruud, both of Parshall, maternal great-grandmother, Lucille Nygard, Garrison; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and 15 girlfriends (according to Weston's last count).

He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Walter and Alta Hove, Harold Olmstead, and George Ruud, maternal great-grandparents, Orval and Kitty Peterson, Lowell Nygard, and great-uncles, Gerald Olmstead and Jon Nygard.
