Yvette was born March 17, 1976 in Minneapolis, MN to Owen and Fern (Ross) Fightslone. She lived most of her life in Bismarck. She went to school as far as she could go. Most of the time she stayed home with her Dad and Mom. Her hobbies weren't many, but she liked her recorder playing gospel tapes that she loved.
As she grew older things never seemed to matter anymore, but she liked her quiet life. She had her good and bad days, but she would always pray.
Yvette leaves behind her mother, Fern Fightslone, Bismarck, one sister, Juanellle Long Elk, one brother, Gordon Weyaus, both of Bismarck, five aunties, Faye Ross, Bismarck, Peggy (Adrian) Ireland, Elizabeth (Ronald) Hoffman, all of Williston, Marilee (Marlon) Whitman, Bismarck, Lori Canyon, Ft. Kipp, MT, auntie, Celeste Soft, Grand Forks, Marsha Rodriquez, Hibbing, MN, uncle, Julian Long Elk
She was preceded in death by her dad, Owen Fightslone, Bullhead, SD, grandparents, Lee (Regina) Ross, White Shield, Chauncey (Ethel) Long Elk, Bullhead, SD, Auntie, Delores Long Elk, Cheryle LaCroix (Perkins), Denise M. Ross, Julie Greely, Gail Ross, Michelle Slater, uncles, Dennis Perkins, Wesley Long Elk, and Terrance Long Elk.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, at 11:00 am at Thompson Funeral Home in Garrison. Burial will be at St. Paul's Episcopal Cemetery.
